Balik kontrabida ang young actress na si Diva Montelaba sa Afternoon Prime series na Maghihintay Pa Rin, where she plays the role of Milan, ang kapitbahay ni Kiko na may gusto sa kanya. In an interview with GMANetwork.com during the show's press conference, the Starstruck alumna shared insights about her dream roles and how it feels to work with Bianca King and Rafael Rosell.

"Gusto ko 'yung kontrabida ako dahil uhaw ako for something. For example, kontrabida ako kasi, in the past, hindi ko naranasan ito, hindi ko naranasan 'yan. So when I had the chance para maranasan 'yun, doon ako magmamaldita. Kung bida naman, gusto kong maging bida na sinusuko ang lahat para sa mga taong minamahal niya," reveals Diva.

Diva also says being a kontrabida in her previous and current shows is not a problem. "It doesn't really differ a lot, plus hindi siya ganun kabago for me kasi lately 'yung mga roles ko bad talaga. I love to be mean in my roles! For me, I find it easier talaga, and with the compliments that come my way, like from Direk Maryo, sinasabi niya na 'You really do good on kontrabida roles'. Parang feeling ko, focus na muna ako doon. It's not that hard for me to be mean, and I don't think it matters to my personality."

As for portraying mabait roles, this is what she had to say. "Siguro mas magiging challenge sa akin 'yun. Pero I'd also love to [portray good characters], para maiba naman. Dream role to talaga maging bida-kontrabida, so sana in the near future magampanan ko 'yun."

Very helpful din daw ang mga co-stars niyang sina Biaca King at Rafael Rosell sa kanilang mga eksena together. "I love working with B kasi she's really professional, she helps me a lot. Si Raf, bilang kaibigan ko talaga siya, nakakausap ko naman siya, isa siya sa mga taong sobrang sarap makatrabaho. As in sobrang chill lang. Sa eksena, nagtutulungan talaga kami, may hugot ako sa kanya kasi magaling siyang actor. And transparent siya when it comes to acting kaya nakakahugot ako from him."
