
DJ Jhaiho is determined to prioritize his health and vows to quit vaping after his recent health scare.
The radio host shared an incident where experienced difficulty in breathing while hosting his radio program on his Instagram.
After pushing through the discomfort, Jhaiho went straight to the emergency room after his show.
He related, “Kapansin pansin na hirap na hirap at naghahabol na ako sa aking hininga yesterday sa programa. Pero PILIT kong inilalaban talaga na tapusin ang show. Right after nito 12nn to 1:30pm ako na mismo nagsugod sa self ko sa ER.
“Ginawa lahat ng LabTest. Chineck if inaatake ako sa puso. Kinunan Blood, XRAY, ECG, Swab etc.”
He also promised himself, “Stop na ako sa pag Vavape!”

Based on the 2023 online survey conducted by the Institute for Global Tobacco Control, the prevalence of e-cigarette or vaping among Philippine youth is 14 percent, or 1.21 million people; among adults, it is 2 percent, or 1.63 million people.
Meanwhile, Department of Health (DOH) secretary Ted Herbosa warned about the dangers of E-cigarette or Vaping Use-Associated Lung Injury (EVALI).
In a report by GMA News Online, Secretary Herbosa said, “EVALI, e-cigarette and vape-associated lung injury— ito ay bagong illness na lumabas lang noong nag-umpisa nag gumamit ang karamihan nitong e-cig at vape products."
