DJ and music artist Jimmy Nocon is set to take the stage in Saudi Arabia as part of the highly anticipated Riyadh Season Concert 2024.

Dubbed as “super gigs,” Riyadh Season Concert is a six-month series of entertainment, cultural, and sporting events in Saudi Arabia's capital. It starts in October 2024 and ends in March 2025.

Representing the Philippines, DJ Jimmy will perform from October 22 to 25.

In an interview via Messenger, DJ Jimmy shared his excitement over this opportunity because it's his first international gig.

He said, “Actually, I've received a lot of out-of-the-country offers in the past, but most of them were for bars or club gigs. This time, I feel beyond grateful because my first international gig will be in Riyadh, and it's a huge event--a concert that our fellow Kababayans will be watching. I didn't think twice about grabbing this opportunity. It's such a big blessing, and I can't wait to give the crowd an unforgettable night.”

He is also looking forward to meeting some fellow Filipinos during the event.

DJ Jimmy said, “I'm incredibly excited for this concert or musical night, especially since I'll have the opportunity to bring joy to our fellow Filipinos, the OFWs, here in Riyadh. They deserve it, given all the sacrifices they've made and the huge contributions they provide to the Philippine economy.

“I get inspired seeing how hard they work away from home, yung mga paghihirap at sakripisyo nila para sa kanilang mga pamilya, so this is my way of giving back--creating a memorable experience for them.”

The celebrity DJ promises his audience to give his signature #The DJimmyNoconExperience.

“As you all know, DJ Jimmy Nocon is all about surprises--that's what I'm known for here in the Philippines, laging may pasabog. I'm bringing that same energy to Riyadh, ipaparamdam ko sa kanila,” he said.

“I always make sure to add a special touch to my sets. For this event, I'll be mixing familiar or well-loved Filipino songs with a fresh EDM twist, so our kababayans can sing, dance, and fully enjoy the music, para makasabay ang lahat sa kantahan at sayawan. It'll be a perfect mix of nostalgia and high-energy beats, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for everyone.

Likewise, DJ Jimmy also hopes to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

“I'm expecting a very unforgettable night, and I can't wait to make everyone feel at home, even for just a few hours,” he concluded.
