Nevertheless, the Department of Labor and Employment-Bureau of Local Employment (DOLE-BLE) has good news for Filipino job seekers.

In Ivan Mayrina's report in 24 Oras, DOLE-BLE Asec. Dominique Rubia-Tutay announced that there are two companies that currently have 8,000 job openings.

Moreover, these jobs are not just for returning migrant workers, but also for those who are willing to shift their careers and undergo training.

One of the companies is Optum and they are looking for registered nurses willing to take on job opportunities here and abroad. And they also have vacancies for customer service representatives, for which high school graduates may apply.

The other company is the EMS Group. They are in need of 4,000 production operators and assembly workers for their electronics and manufacturing plants in Laguna and Batangas. No work experience is required, as long as applicants are willing to be trained.

According to DOLE, there are other companies who have expressed their intent in hiring more workers. But, they are still subject to DOLE's review, in order to protect job seekers.

Those who are interested in the job openings in Optum and the EMS Group may send their resumes via e-mail and the interview will also be done online.
