Sinigurado ng production team na intense ang mga kukunan na action scenes para sa GMA Prime series na The Master Cutter na pinagbibidahan ng multifaceted actor at host na si Mr. Dingdong Dantes.

Sa idinaos na media conference ng Netflix nitong May 7 para sa action-packed series na mapapanood na sa kanilang streaming platform simula bukas, ikinuwento ni Direk Dominic Zapata na ginastusan ng GMA-7 ang opening gunfight na mapapanood sa pilot episode.

“Inabot kami siguro ng two full days pero hindi pa yata naubos in two full days."

“I think the more relevant question is kung ilang araw na budget 'yung ginamit namin sa dalawang araw” kuwento ni Direk Dominic.

Sumunod siyang nagpasalamat sa bumubuo ng The Master Cutter mula sa creative at production staff na nagsusumikap na mapaganda ang bawat eksena.

“Yung mga magic nagagawa naman namin, hindi yan mabubuo kung hindi kami tinutulungan ng staff. They are the unsung heroes, really. Sila 'yung bumuo nito. Of course, our writers, I can't just think about these things... and of course pati our action team na nakakapag-isip ng ganiyan.”

Ayon pa kay Direk Dominic, naging mabusisi rin siya sa paghahanda para lalo pang mapaganda ang action and fight sequences sa The Master Cutter.

“All of that we had to figure out, how do we do this, given this limited time? Pero I don't think, personally, in my almost 30 years of doing television, na nakagawa kami ng action scenes that are quite as big as the one we did in The Master Cutter."

“I've done quite a number of action scenes, pero that opening scene, that's hard to top. We did our research on that. I usually say, 'I hope we don't disappoint', I'll revise that for today, for this show, I'm sure we won't disappoint.”
