Dominique Cojuangco's graduation ceremony was done through live stream.
Dominique Cojuangco, daughter of actress Gretchen Barretto and Tonyboy Cojuangco, is officially a graduate!
The 25-year-old graduated as Magna cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in California. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was held online.
On Instagram, Dominique showed her toga to the world and said, “#FIDMGraduation live done. Magna Cum Laude, but fell a little bit short of the Cyril Magnin award.”
According to the institution, the Cyril Magnin Award is given to a graduate who shows outstanding skills in merchandising or marketing, and best exemplifies the spirit of FIDM's founding board members, Cyril Magnin.
Last January 17, Gretchen Barretto posted a glimpse of her daughter's diploma on social media.
Before studying in FIDM, Dominique took up fashion design at the Instituto Marangoni in London. In 2017, she launched her first fashion collection named “La Dona.”
