Thousands of miles away from home, newlyweds Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera still join the Filipino people in prayer for the apostolic visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines.
In an
Instagram post yesterday, Dingdong spoke in behalf of Marian, saying that their hearts are with their countrymen who are welcoming the Pope these next few days.
“… though we are thousands of miles away, we link our hearts today with the Filipino people in welcoming His Holiness, Pope Francis…” he wrote.
They join the Filipinos in asking for the pope’s prayers for the country and the world. “[We are one with Filipinos] in appealing for [the] intercession [of Pope Francis] to the Almighty, to make lasting peace real, and the love of one another the bedrock of our humanly existence,” he added.
The actor, who previously expressed condemnation over the
Charlie Hebdo attack in France, also wishes safety for everyone. “May we all be spared from any future disasters, both natural and man-made.
The Kapuso Primetime Royal Couple, who are currently in Europe for their honeymoon, did not miss the opportunity to go to the Vatican, where they got to be part of a mass audience with the pope last week.
