Saad ni Donita Rose sa kinasangkutang kontrobersiya ng kaniyang sister-in-law na si Sheena Palad: "Hindi naman ganiyan dati."
Sa vlog ni Donita Rose ay pinag-usapan ang kontrobersyang kinasangkutan kamakailan ng kaniyang sister-in-law na si Sheena Palad.
Si Sheena ay ang tinawag bilang presenter sa 2024 Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards. Ayon sa balita, ang acclaimed actress na si Eva Darren ang dapat na magiging presenter kasama ni Tirso Cruz III.
Ipinaliwanag na ni Sheena na siya ay pinakiusapan lang siya ng organizers na maging presenter sa event. Saad ni Sheena sa kaniyang inilabas na statement, "That's it, hindi ko po alam na si Ms. Eva 'yung magpe-present po. Actually, nung time na 'yun, I was clueless, hindi po kasi ako nanonood ng awards night because I was in the holding area. Hindi ko po alam kung paano mag-present. Sobrang kaba ko...I was not prepared. Hindi ko po nabasa 'yung script."
Binalikan ni Donita ang mga pangyayari kasama ang kaniyang asawa na si Felson. Kapatid ni Felson si Sheena. Kasama rin nila sa vlog ang boyfriend ni Sheena na si Johann Enriquez.

Ani Donita, "When all of the cyberbullying came out, you were getting death threats."
Ayon kay Donita nanindigan silang huwag muna mag-react kahit na may banta sa buhay ni Sheena.
"I really had to hold him (Felson) back and be like let's refrain muna from saying anything...We need to let the emotions subside first before we react kasi that's the worst we can do at this point."
Inilahad ni Donita ang sinabi noon ni Felson sa kanila nang pumutok ang issue sa kapatid.
"He even said maybe the Lord is also allowing, parang nabibinyagan ka muna sa industriya. So let the Lord protect you first. That was really hard for us to do... I already had plans but we felt that the Lord was telling us to step back."
Ikinuwento ni Donita na si Felson ay hindi lang nakakatandang kapatid ni Sheena, siya rin ay tumatayong ama ni Sheena dahil pumanaw na ang kanilang mga magulang.
"Felson is not just the older brother, he is the second in the family. Siya yung talagang tumayong tatay sa buhay ni Sheena kasi their father passed away early on. Eventually their mom."
Bilang matagal na si Donita sa industriya, ikinagulat niya raw ang reaksyon ng mga tao kay Sheena.
"Hindi naman ganiyan dati. I've been in the business for 34 years, no one has ever said that to me and this is Sheena's introduction into the business."
Para kay Donita Rose, naiintindihan niya raw ang pagkakaroon ng opinyon ng bawat isa.
"I understand that everybody wants to have a voice and oftentimes the good comments are overlooked. The ones that grab our attention are like the really bastos and bad ones."
