Donnalyn Bartolome raved about her boyfriend, JM de Guzman, in an appreciation post she wrote for him.

On Facebook, the content creator praised JM for deliberately stating that he plans to marry her in the near future.

"Dun tayo sa lalaking may plano sa atin," she said. "Ang oras natin mahalaga. Sharing thoughts for all the women out there like me. Women are born with all the egg cells they'll ever have in their life. Wasting our time should be a crime."

Donnalyn then opened up about how the actor showed a strong interest in her even before they officially became a couple.

"A blessing for me, April 11, 2023, this man started calling me his wife hindi ko pa siya sinasagot. Posting my face on the internet hindi pa kami. Binakuran ako sa lahat ng nanliligaw sa akin making sure no one else stood a chance! “Maghihintay ako basta pakakasalan mo ako ah..” while driving for me when we were just dating."

Early on in their relationship, Donnalyn said JM already has intentions of settling down with her.

She detailed, "Naghintay ng isang taon and after ko siya sagutin, introduced me as his “asawa ko” to people and his family, certain that I will be. In this conversation, nag-uusap kami about our status* what are we doing, you know… just for clarity, and I got this unexpected response--The Plan. Now that's a MAN! His happy place pa daw is marrying me, choosing a wedding dress peg he likes and everything."

JM has been vocal about his desire to take their relationship to the next level. In his Instagram post dated February 22, 2024, he expressed that he wishes to see his girlfriend walk down the aisle.

At first, Donnalyn was hesitant to publicize their romance, but eventually realized that openness is an important part of their connection.

She went on, "Hindi nakuntento, nag-post pa ulit. Sabi ko, wag nalang namin gawing public, private relationship nalang AYAW NIYA. Kaya kahit I don't normally publicize my relationship, I did. I followed his lead. Now I understand, ganun nga naman talaga dapat: intention, wag ilusyon. Don't settle for less ladies. Never. Benefitting from your love tapos walang plano? That's their role: to provide, to lead, to plan."

She then quipped, "Pag wala pang plano say LECHE! PLAN!"

Donnalyn further explained, "Because choosing the father of your child is the most important decision you'll make in your life. Please choose a good man with a plan. The one who prioritizes you, provides for you, protects you and yung mabango."

In closing her post, Donnalyn praised JM for his heartfelt commitment to the idea of becoming a husband.

"To my Juan Miguel, you're auditioning for one of, if not, the most important role of your life: To be a Husband. Godbless a faithful man. Thy will be done."

Donnalyn and JM met in February 2022.

They have been a couple since June 22, 2023 but it was only a year later when they announced that they are in a relationship.

In her Facebook post on June 28, 2024, Donnalyn shared photos of her and JM together wearing Megara and Hercules costumes, respectively, on a basketball court.
