Then, you can learn a thing or two from retired PBA cager Doug Kramer, who penned a sweet birthday message for his wife Chesca Garcia on her 41st birthday.
Doug and Chesca tied the knot in 2008 and were blessed with three beautiful children--Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin.
On Saturday, July 24, Chesca turned a year older and Doug listed down the many things why he loves his beautiful wife on his Instagram account.
He wrote, “Every year on your birthday I tease you about your age.
But I'll set it straight this time, you turned 41 today.
Yes, we're growing old together honey. Almost 20 years since the day I saw you in Boracay.
I can compliment you about your beauty and how young you look all day.
But to be honest, you can be 41 and look 45, and I wouldn't care.
Beauty is a gift of yours, but it's not what defines you.
I love you because you're the mother of my children.
I love you because you make me strive to be better.
I love you because you're my best friend. We still talk for hours and hours and it never gets old.
I love you because you set goals for yourself, and you never procrastinate.
I love you because when I kiss you, it's always brand new.
I love you because you trust me without hesitations.
I love you because we always compromise and look to see solutions rather than dwell on petty arguments.
I love you because we both agree that we need God in our lives to make our relationship and family work.”
Daddy Doug stressed that he loves her unconditionally and that they are match made in heaven.
“Finally,I love you because I unconditionally love you. It's a choice I make everyday.
“And there's nothing that can change that. Honey, you're 41 and I'm 32.
“And we're perfect for each other in all ways. Happy birthday sweetheart!”
Chesca replied to the heartfelt post and received a ton of messages wishing her well on her birthday.
“Thank you for the sweet message, sweetheart!!! I love you so much!!!”
