With their life in Australia coming to an end, Doug Kramer feels nothing but gratitude and happiness for their family's adventure.
On Instagram, the celebrity dad took time to reflect on their nearly three-month stay in Melbourne. Alongside fun family photos, Doug penned a sweet and heartwarming message about their journey.
"From establishing a new daily routine and watching the kids grow and improve in their respective sports. It's been nothing short of amazing!" he said.
" The goal on the first month was to remove bad habits and improve techniques. The second month was about getting stronger and getting used to their new techniques. The third month was seeing if their new techniques become second nature. The kids are still a work in progress but they've improved leaps and bounds. This is but a first big step towards the bigger goals."
The basketball player admitted he had mixed feelings about returning home after witnessing so much progress within the family.
"A bit torn about heading home because we've witnessed how much they've improved in their sports, our family time, and their spiritual walk, which we've also reinforced here. I even got to hit the basketball court again and compete with my friends!" he added.
But in the end, Doug expressed his gratitude for the experience and the memories they created.
"Thank you, Melbourne! Thank you Lord for making this trip possible… One week to go! ..."
Doug and Chesca have been married since 2008 and have three children: Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin.
In the past two years, their family has vacationed in London, the United States, Bali, and Paris.
Last January, Team Kramer revealed they would be staying in Australia for three months for their children's sports training while doing online school.
