Live singing drag artist Tiny Deluxe chose to sing 'Sirena' in the first round of 'The Clash 2024' as a shoutout to her fellow LGBTQIA+ members.

Pasig City's live singing drag artist Tiny Deluxe, whose real name is Jayper Palma, made her way to The Clash 2024 top 12 after sitting on the show's 'Top of the Clash' in its latest episode aired last Saturday, October 5.

The Drag Race Philippines season two contestant belted out Gloc-9's "Sirena" in the show's first round where she went against Cebu's Aljay Bacalso.

Judge Christian Bautista enjoyed Tiny Deluxe's performance, noting how entertaining she was on stage.

He said, "I had so much fun, ang saya-saya mo panoorin on stage. Minsan nagiging seryoso sa The Clash dito masyado e, masyadong birit or ballad pero napaka-refreshing na makarinig naman ng ganyan...fast, rap. So maraming, maraming salamat sa performance mo."

Lani Misalucha, on the other hand, commended Tiny Deluxe for singing live unlike in drag show performances where the artists usually lip-sync.

"Eto ka totoong boses mo ang ginagamit, kumakanta ka, nangarap ka so nakakatuwa na nakakita ako na talagang nagpe-perform at ginagamit ang sariling boses niya," the Asia's Nightingale commented.

Aiai Delas Alas complimented not only Tiny Deluxe's performance but also her outfit.

The veteran comedienne then added, "Tiny, maliit, pero malaki ang performance".

Tiny Deluxe took to her Instagram account to reflect on her first performance on The Clash 2024.

According to the drag artist, she chose to sing "Sirena" in the Kapuso musical competition's first round as a shoutout to her fellow LGBTQIA+ members.

She said, "It was so important for me to sing Sirena by @glocdash9 as my first song on @theclashgma 2024, because I am there for my dreams, and for representation. Growing up, I never saw myself on a national television singing competition, and my younger self would be so proud. TO ALL THE SIRENAS OUT THERE, WE EXIST AND WE DESERVE TO BE SEEN!!"
