Sparkle heartthrob Dustin Yu was beaming with happiness after the successful staging of his “Destiny: The Dustin Yu Experience” at the New Frontier Theater on December 4.
One of the highlights of the much-awaited event was when Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo surprised the Chinito hottie with a gift from his duo and on-screen partner, Bianca de Vera.
Aside from Mika, other Pinoy Big Brother housemates were also in attendance, including Josh Ford and Vince Maristela, who performed with Dustin. Meanwhile, AZ Martinez and Kira Balinger were there to watch the spectacular fan meet.
Dustin told 24 Oras that he is grateful for the opportunity to make people happy through this project.
“Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa nag-si-sink in sa akin, pero siyempre grateful, sobra! Grabe 'yung binibigay nilang suporta sa akin. So ako, I'm happy na nakakapag-inspire ako ng tao. I'm happy na madami akong napapasaya.”
Knowing how hectic December can be, Dustin said he was touched that his former PBB housemates still made time to join him at his “Destiny” fan meeting.
“Alam ko naman na busy lahat ngayon lalo na 'pag December. Pero ayun nga, nagbigay sila ng oras talaga. And isa rin 'yun sa pinaka-vina-value ko.”
Prior to taking the stage for his fan meeting, Dustin—together with Bianca and Will Ashley—returned to the Pinoy Big Brother house as houseguests. He admitted feeling a “wave of nostalgia” the moment they stepped inside Bahay ni Kuya.
The trio are the lead stars of the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love You So Bad, directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, showing on December 25.
“Nakaka-miss 'yung Bahay ni Kuya. Dun naman kasi nagsimula lahat. Du'n ako nakakilala ng mga taong magiging mahalaga sa buhay ko. So pagpasok ko dun, biglang nag-flashback lahat.”
