Dustin Yu fulfilled another dream-come-true with his sold-out fan meet concert, “Destiny: The Dustin Yu Experience,” held at the New Frontier Theater on Thursday, December 4.
On Instagram, the Sparkle artist shared highlight photos from the event, along with a heartfelt message filled with reflection and gratitude for his supporters.
“I still haven't fully processed everything that happened that night, but as I write this, my heart is just overflowing with happiness and gratitude,” he began.
“I never thought that day would come. I never thought something like this would ever be possible for me. I never imagined myself standing on a center stage, performing with so many people watching, supporting, and celebrating with me,” the ex-PBB housemate added.
Before reaching this level of success, Dustin admitted that the journey was not easy and was filled with “doubts and fears.” However, the love and support from his fans pushed him beyond his limits.
“Every shout, every cheer, every laugh, every smile, every sintra, every banner—you all made me believe in myself,” he said.
Dustin revealed that he had “never dreamed of something this big,” and that his only wish has always been to make people happy, inspire others, and share something meaningful through his craft.
He continued, “Sometimes our greatest dreams are the ones we're afraid to imagine, but when you're surrounded by people who believe in you, you start believing in yourself too.”
“And when you finally take that leap, you realize you were capable all along. That day was truly for all of you,” he reflected.
“Maraming maraming salamat sa mga taong sumuporta sakin para maging possible 'to lahat. Sama-sama tayo hanggang dulo,” he concluded.
Aside from his fan meeting, Dustin is busy preparing for his upcoming entries to the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival.
He is set to join Bianca De Vera and Will Ashley in Love You So Bad and will also appear in the horror film Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins.
