“I promise to fulfill my duties as your king and be a role model to the best of my abilities,” the new Man of the World Philippines, Tommy Peñaflor, said on his social media
Former 'That's My Bae' finalist Tommy Peñaflor wins Man of the World Philippines title in the recently concluded Misters of Filipinas pageant held at the Fil-Oil Flying-V Center in San Juan last Saturday, September 21.
Tommy shared the good news to his Instagram followers by relating how thankful he is to Misters of Filipinas for honing him to become a better person.
He wrote, “My journey with Misters of Filipinas has been one of the most memorable and blissful part of my career.
“For many years in the TV and modeling industry, I realized that there's something lacking, something yet to be discovered and would complete my purpose.
“The Misters of Filipinas gave me the opportunity to hone my personality in all aspects.
“Physically, mentally, and socially; I was groomed to be a gentleman who would proudly carry the sash of Misters of Filipinas.”

Tommy added that he will try his best to become a good role model as he fulfills his duties as Man of the World Philippines.
“To be able to have the platform where I know I have a voice to share my advocacy.
“Now that I have been crowned Man of the World Philippines, I promise to fulfill my duties as your king and be a role model to the best of my abilities.
"I have been blessed with so many things and I owe it to everyone who has been with me every step of the way.
"Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”
His Eat Bulaga co-star Allan K congratulated Tommy for this huge milestone in his career too.
