Pandesal is a staple food for most Filipino households. It is often served during breakfast and paired with a cup of coffee or served in merienda with different sandwich spreads or fillings.
Kara David's pandesal pudding
In a recent episode of Pinas Sarap's live cooking show on Facebook, ECQusina, host Kara David leveled up the Pinoy favorite pandesal by turning it into a pudding, a famous European dessert.
Plus, she also made an easy-to-prepare butterscotch sauce.
For the pandesal pudding, here are all the ingredients you'll need:
Pandesal

Kara said that you can use leftover pandesal to recreate her pudding recipe. Additionally, you can also use fresh milk instead of evaporated milk and granulated sugar (white sugar) if you don't have brown sugar.
