In a recent episode of Pinas Sarap's live cooking show on Facebook, ECQusina, host Kara David leveled up the Pinoy favorite pandesal by turning it into a pudding, a famous European dessert.

Plus, she also made an easy-to-prepare butterscotch sauce.

For the pandesal pudding, here are all the ingredients you'll need:

Pandesal

Ingredients:
2 cups of evaporated milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
4 eggs
1 extra egg yolk (without egg white)
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Procedure:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2. Cut each pandesal into four parts.
3. Toast the pandesal.
4. Melt the butter.
5. Put the toasted pandesal in a loaf pan graced with butter.
6. Mix the evaporated milk, 4 eggs, 1 egg yolk, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract together.
7. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan with pandesal.
8. Soak for 15 minutes.
9. Then bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.

For the butterscotch sauce, you'll need the following:

Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 cup condensed milk
¼ cup evaporated milk
¼ cup of milk

Procedure:
1. Melt the butter and sugar in a pan.
2. Add the condensed milk and mix well.
3. Once the mixture has melted completely, turn off the stove and add the evaporated milk and stir.

Kara said that you can use leftover pandesal to recreate her pudding recipe. Additionally, you can also use fresh milk instead of evaporated milk and granulated sugar (white sugar) if you don't have brown sugar.
