Kapuso couple Edgar Allan Guzman and girlfriend Shaira Diaz are traveling to Boracay to celebrate their relationship anniversary.

Edgar Allan posted a snapshot of him with Shaira on Instagram and wrote, "Ang sarap sa feeling na makapagtravel ulit. See you Bora!"

Similarly, Shaira wrote, "Finally flying again."

The two have been in a relationship for eight years and first met on the set of TV5's defunct talent and reality show, Artista Academy. The pair admitted to breaking up in the past but eventually getting back together in 2019.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic the two have traveled to the U.S. and Hong Kong together in 2019.

In a couple vlog from EA Guzman Official's YouTube Channel, Edgar Allan said, “After niya ako sagutin ng February 17, tuloy tuloy lang hanggang ngayon seven years na kami and counting.

"Ngayon mahal na mahal ko si Baba and proud ako sa kanya. Proud ako na siya'y Baba ko and siya yung tinitibok ng aking puso. Siya yung pumana ng puso ko."

He also admitted they went through a rough patch in their relationship during the first few years: "Nung first four years lagi kaming nag-aaway dahil sa maliit na bagay which is normal naman I think. Lahat naman tayo ganun. Parang pina-realize niya sa akin na kung maliit na bagay, huwag na natin pag-awayan kasi hindi naman makakatulong sa atin yan which is true,” he said.

Edgar Allan also shared an advice for couples who are just in the beginning phase of their relationship, "Importante yung kailangan niyo mag-grow. Kahit na nasa relasyon kayo kailangan may sarili pa rin kayong buhay para at the end of the day wala kayong sisihan na, 'Ay, hindi ko na-enjoy yung ganito.' Kailangan yung faith niyo kay Lord sobrang malakas and matibay. Mahaba pasensya niyo sa isa't isa,” he concluded.
