Edu Manzano once again speaks up online about one of the country's current issues.
On Facebook, the Filipino actor questioned the PhP50-million bounty on Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa.
Edu said the public deserved to know why the hefty reward exists, especially since he had not heard of any local warrant issued for the senator's arrest.
"Is it wrong to ask why the government is offering PhP 50 million for Bato's capture when no Philippine court has issued a local warrant for his arrest?" he wrote in a post.
"The ICC (International Criminal Court) warrant is a separate matter. The public deserves a clear explanation of the legal basis for this bounty and the use of public funds," he added.
Edu's latest post follows his previous reactions and shared opinions on various government-related and public issues in the country.

Meanwhile, Malacañang defended the PhP50-million bounty anew on October 29, saying that Dela Rosa's world has gotten smaller as authorities intensified efforts to arrest him in connection with crimes against humanity charges before the ICC.
Dela Rosa's camp sought a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court to prevent the implementation of the ICC warrant and the government's reward offer for his arrest.
“The only document the government has is a warrant from the International Criminal Court. That is a foreign tribunal under a treaty the Philippines withdrew from effective March 17, 2019," said in a statement.
