Handang-handa na si Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2017 Elizabeth Clenci sa gaganaping Miss Grand International pageant sa Vietnam ngayong October 5. Aniya, "I'm really excited, I am. I get butterflies in my stomach. But I think they're butterflies of excitement."
Tuwang-tuwa rin ang beauty queen dahil very aligned ang kanyang advocacy, at ang advocacy ng mismong pageant. Ika niya, "As a peace ambassador, my advocacy is peace through equality and unity, and that's what's beautiful about the pageant, [we have the same vision.]"
Recently ay nakasama rin ng mga batang estudyante sa 15th Avenue Elementary School sa Quezon City ang beauty queen. Ani pa ni Elizabeth, "With some of the kids at 15th Avenue Elementary. Had the most incredible day reading to the children. Peace should start with the children. They are our future leaders, influencers, and teachers. It is our responsibility to be an example of everything we wish to see in the world so that they can lead by example. Nurturing the minds of the youth is an important role we all play, whether we know it or not."
Dagdag pa niya, "Let us show them love, show them understanding and ultimately show them equality, so that it can be a way of life for them that they live everyday rather than just a notion of a value they try to achieve."
