Serving sweetness and style, Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio () were among the top couple goals at the recent GMA Gala 2025.

In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio opened up about being each other's date for the night at the GMA Gala 2025.

"Jusko, automatic na 'yun. Subukan mo lang na may pa-date-date proposal ka pa, 'wag na please," Elle said when asked if Derrick had formally invited her to be his date at the gala.

Derrick added, "'Di, nasa age na rin kasi kami na hindi na tayo cute cute, e. So, parang gets na namin na kami talaga."

Elle also revealed that even without a date proposal, Derrick continues to be romantic every day.

The couple looked back on one of their most memorable moments from that night.

"I ate so much that night. Ayun 'yung memorable kasi from my previous gala, hindi na ako kumakain talaga pati sa pagdating sa loob, hindi talaga masyado kumakain kasi more on socializing," she shared.

This year, Elle made sure to feel more at ease by eating, relaxing, and simply enjoying the night.

The actor added, "And also the people we meet from other networks and the directors, it's nice to see them again."

Elle wore a red Ezra couture creation, which she described as a "longtime dream." Meanwhile, Derrick donned a neutral-toned suit accented with a finely tailored rose detail.

The couple attended the GMA Gala 2025 last Saturday, August 2, at the Marriott Hotel Manila in Pasay City.
