Watch Elle Villanueva's new dance video that has fans calling her the next Marimar.
Elle Villanueva gained a new title from fans after dropping a stunning dance video.
In an Instagram post, the Apoy sa Dugo actress shared a video of herself dancing to the popular 2000 hit “Aserejé,” which was used in the Philippine TV adaptations of the Mexican series Marimar and Rosalinda on GMA.
In the video, Elle stunned in a sexy green dress and a curly bun hairstyle as she danced flawlessly to the hit song.
“If you danced non-stop to this when you were younger… you're a 2000s kid,” she wrote in the caption.
Fans could not stop raving in the comments, saying she was fit to be the next Marimar or Rosalinda in a remake. Celebrities also joined in, praising her looks and performance, including fellow Apoy sa Dugo star Ashley Ortega and former PBB housemate Sofia Pablo.
“For me, bagay po sayo maging Marimar,” one commented.
A fan wrote, “Manifesting to be the new face of Marimarrrr remake.”
“She would be a good ROSALINDA… is GMA planning to do another remake of that series?” another fan shared.
