Ellen Adarna stirred online buzz once again after casually dropping a "fun fact" about ex-husband Derek Ramsay and her former partner John Lloyd Cruz.

On Instagram Stories, the actress answered netizens' questions about Derek and John Lloyd.

One question read, "Sabi nga ni Popoy: Malaki ka lang pero hindi mo [ako] kaya! hahaha char."

"Ay walang sinabi dai...," Ellen responded, laughing.

"Fun fact: hinamon din niya ng away si JL in life #truth," she added.

After answering this, Ellen shared that many people had messaged her directly.

"Hahaha daming nag-message. Basta ang importante ang ending - ang ending ay.. hindi [siya] pinatulan, walang suntukan [kasi] puro [siya] parang chihuahua," she said in a separate Instagram Stories.

Ellen mockingly said that John Lloyd was “hypnotized” by how much Derek had talked, leaving him confused. She also revealed that the tension between the two actors happened twice.

In another Instagram Stories, the actress admitted that Derek does not give her an allowance in response to the question, “Does he give you allowance as his wife? He should give you money. Duty of a good husband.”

"Bakit ko bibigyan ng allowance 'yung asawa ko? Ano siya, pokpok o bayaran?" Ellen shared, noting that her friends witnessed Derek saying it to her face.

In 2025, Ellen and Derek sparked breakup speculation when she removed the surname “Ramsay” from her Instagram profile. In November 2025, Ellen publicly claimed that Derek had cheated on her, along with other revelations about their relationship.

Ellen and John Lloyd separated in 2019. They share a son, Elias, born in 2018.
