A moving tribute dedicated to one of the music industry’s most treasured icons, the digitally remastered version of “Kaleidoscope World” celebrates the legacy of the one and only Master Rapper, Francis M. 

Last May 23, an advanced Father’s Day tribute was led by the family of Francis Magalona. In an interview with Startalk TX, Magalona’s children Elmo and Maxene, as well as his spouse, Pia Magalona shared what they came up with for the beloved Master Rapper this year.

Elmo explained, “Every year, we think of something new and something to celebrate Father’s Day. This year, we tried to bring it up to the next level. We’re calling it ‘FM Forevermore’.”

Part of ‘FM Forevermore’ is the development of a digitally remastered music video of Francis M.’s chart-topping song, “Kaleidoscope World”. With the aid of advanced technology, Elmo was able to do a duet with Francis M. in the same music video.

“We always wanted to be the first to discover any technology. With the advent of technology, nakakagawa tayo ng ganitong bagay,” stated Pia.

Maxene added, “Nakakataba ng puso siyempre, and at the same time, nakakatuwa kasi nandoon pa rin talaga si Papa. Parang hindi siya nawala.”

The digitally remastered version of “Kaleidoscope World” has been garnering positive feedback from netizens ever since its viral release.

Very grateful to her father’s ardent supporters, Maxene said, “We just really want to say thank you to everyone who still continues to support the music of my dad, and not just his music, pero siyempre ‘yung paniniwala niya na dapat lahat tayo proud sa pagiging Pilipino.”
