Just days after the very successful Ang Huling El Bimbo concert, Eraserheads frontman, Ely Buendia, shares one of the lessons he's learned in life: healing begins with oneself.
In an Instagram post on December 28, Ely shared that the real lessons in life such as happy ones, baffling ones, and tough ones, begin after graduation.
“The best thing you can hope for is to somehow be able to grasp them in a short amount of time,” he noted.
He then revealed that the band and the whole team behind the Huling El Bimbo concert are still trying to grasp what had happened in their concert and the last three months leading up to it.
However, despite more questions than answers, he clarified, “This isn't doubt. This is certainty."
He added, “As for me, I now see that sometimes, healing can only begin within one's self. You have to really want it, and most of the time, willing to work for it.”
Ely ended his post by saying that people might get lucky and “leave this place a little better” than when they first found it by being willing to risk everything.
Back in September, speculations about a reunion concert started after Ely, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan posted the same picture of the letter E on their respective social media accounts.
Ely then confirmed the reunion concert by sharing its official poster, which contained the details such as the date and venue of the concert.
Aside from their reunion concert, the producer of their Huling El Bimbo concert and WEU President Francis Lumen revealed that the Eraserheads will have a world tour in 2023.
“Actually, we are into deep discussion and a world tour is one thing that's going to happen after this year. It will be next year,” Lumen said.
