Eman Bacosa Pacquiao and Dingdong Dantes

Eman Bacosa Pacquiao finally meets his longtime idol, Dingdong Dantes!

It was a fanboy dream come true for Eman Bacosa Pacquiao as he finally met his idol, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.

The newest addition to Sparkle attended the black carpet premiere of the horror film KMJS' Gabi ng Lagim The Movie, where both stars showed support for their fellow Kapuso talents.

As seen in a video posted by Kapuso PR, Eman and Dingdong shared a heartwarming hug after shaking hands to greet each other.

Dingdong praised Eman for his demeanor, saying he had gotten to know the young boxer through his interviews online.

“Sabi ko, napapanood ko 'yung mga interviews niya at napakabuti niyang tao, napakabuting bata,” he said.

The Kapuso actor also acknowledged Eman's thriving career, both in boxing and now in showbiz.

“Kaya excited ako kung saan man ang mararating ng iyong professional career sa boxing, siguro pati ngayon sa show business, alam kong malayong-malayo ang mararating mo,” Dingdong added.

Previously, on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, netizens noted that Eman resembles Dingdong in his gaze and Piolo Pascual in his side profile.

Eman formally signed a contract with Sparkle on November 19, where he also mentioned that he hopes to work with Dingdong in the future.

Meanwhile, Dingdong recently launched Broken Roads, Broken Promises: Isang Paglalakbay Kasama si Dingdong Dantes, a special documentary by GMA Public Affairs about anomalies in multi-billion-peso flood control projects.
