Eminem's concept restaurant, Mom's Spaghetti, will have a permanent location in Detroit

The memorable “Mom's spaghetti” line from Eminem's iconic 2002 song “Lose Yourself” is getting yet another lease on life as it becomes the name for the concept restaurant the rapper will open in Detroit on September 29.

A statement on the rapper's website explained that the concept restaurant is a joint partnership between Eminem, his manager Paul Rosenberg, and the Union Joints restaurant group. The Mom's Spaghetti concept restaurant will have a permanent location on Woodward Avenue. It will also have a retail space above it called The Trailer, which is a nod to Eminem's character in the movie “8 Mile.”

Fans and Detroit residents had earlier encountered Mom's Spaghetti as a pasta pop-up. The first pop-up was at The Shelter in St. Andrew's Hall and then made appearances at a number of Eminem's live performances.

Commercials were also aired on local Detroit television. Watch the advertisement below.
