Congratulations, Kapuso!
Even though the airing of Encantadia has already ended, the iconic telefantasya is becoming popular outside the Philippines as the GMA Network show just grabbed its first international award!
Encantadia won Best Visual Effects (Long Form category) at the 2017 Apollo Awards. The Kapuso show bested two finalists, M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story and Housefull 3, which were both produced in India. Started in 2005, Apollo Awards honors the best in production and post-production across the Asia Pacific region.
On behalf of the Encantadia team, Senior Program Manager Helen Rose Sese received the award in Singapore today, May 24.
