Star Style PH, an online fashion hub, got in touch with Encantadia 2016 star Sanya Lopez as part of their ongoing series of celebrity features.

The online fashion feature described Sanya as the type of girl that "exudes a sort of charm that’s simply unmistakable – olive-skinned, endearingly demure, and possessing an auspicious quality promised by her youth. It’s not hard to imagine that this girl will emerge as a star sooner rather than later."

Aside from serving as the muse for their photo shoot titled "Sunshine Daydream," Sanya also discussed her experiences portraying Danaya in the much-awaited telefantasya.

According to Sanya, "Hindi biro. I went through a lot during the audition process. Now, we’re all working hard and really preparing for it. Aside from acting workshops, I’m preparing for my role by getting fit and learning arnis."

The Kapuso actress also talked about her reaction when she first found out about her role.

"I had mixed emotions. At first, ang sarap ng feeling. But I did feel nervous because Encantadia was such a huge hit before and Diana Zubiri was an amazing actress. I just try to control the feeling of being pressured because I don’t want it to affect my work," Sanya said.

Lastly, she shared what it's like to work with her Sang'gre sisters Glaiza de Castro, Kylie Padilla, and Gabbi Garcia, "We’ve all gotten very close. They’re very welcoming and approachable. I feel blessed to be working with them because they’re so professional at ang sarap nila kasama."
