ENHYPEN has donated Php 4 million to help communities hit by floods in the Philippines.

K-pop boy group ENHYPEN recently showed their love for the Filipinos as they extended support to communities hit by recent floods in the Philippines.

According to The Korea Times, ENHYPEN and its agency BeLift Labs have donated KR100 million (around P4 million) to the flood victims in the country that was recently impacted by Typhoon Tino and Uwan.

Source confirmed that ENHYPEN's donation would go directly to Bulacan, which they called a “special place” where they recently held their “Walk The Line” tour at the Philippine Sports Stadium.

“We became aware of the recent severe flooding affecting many communities across the Philippines, a country that has long been close to our hearts. We wanted to offer our support, even in a small way, and sincerely hope the contributions will be used to help those in need and assist in the ongoing recovery efforts,” the group said in a statement.

“Our hearts are with the local community and fans during this challenging time,” they added.

ENHYPEN's donation will be channelled through the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, working with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, the main private-sector coordinator for disaster management in the country.

Typhoon Tino claimed 114 lives and left 127 people missing across the country, which prompted the government to declare a nationwide state of calamity.

Super Typhoon Uwan struck afterwards, claiming at least 27 more lives, leaving 2 missing, and impacting over 3.5 million people—or 1,006,149 families—throughout the nation, excluding Central Visayas and Davao Region.
