After Heeseung's departure from ENHYPEN was announced, the group shared a heartfelt message for their fans, ENGENE, on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night, March 10.

In the post, the members admitted that the news of Heeseung leaving may have taken many fans by surprise, saying they also felt pain seeing their supporters anxious or upset over the development.

"I bet you were really shocked seeing today's announcement, Engine. We were most worried about what Engine would think. ENHYPEN has always existed for Engine, so seeing Engine worry and struggle is the greatest pain for us.

"The time we've spent together up until now is precious beyond words. That's why we respect and support Hyungseung hyung's choice and new beginning that we've shared all this time.

"To ease Engine's worries even a little and create happy days for Engine every day, we, ENHYPEN will grow even more from now on.

"To always be a proud and confident ENHYPEN, for our precious Engines who cheer and support us anytime, anywhere, we'll become stronger and never forget our gratitude in every moment.

"We're always thankful and we love you, Engine."

On Tuesday, ENHYPEN's label Belift Lab confirmed that Heeseung would be leaving the group.
