Epi hopes to make the late Comedy King proud.
By CHERRY SUN

In time for Dolphy’s birthday, his son Epi Quizon honors his memory with a birthday show and a film.
The King of Comedy should be celebrating his 86th birthday on July 25, but the comedian died due to lingering illness in 2012.
“Sa Marikina, we will have a show. It’s like a Quizon show, and Zsa Zsa (Padilla) will be there,” Epi said.
Aside from the birthday show, Epi also dedicates his international film to the late Comedy King.
He stars with an all-Filipino cast in the international film
A Kid, A Thief, and A Killer which is produced by an all-American team.
“Hopefully my father up there is looking down and seeing [what I’m doing],” he said.
Epi also told
24 Oras that
he does not have ill feelings towards the romantic relationship between his stepmother Zsa Zsa Padilla and beau Architect Conrad Onglao.
“I’m happy for her. Bakit naman kami pa ‘yung maghi-hinder sa kaligayan niya? I’m pretty sure my father’s happy for her. She deserves to be happy, di ba. Nakita naman natin kung paano niya minahal ang tatay ko,” he said.
"Actually she was the first one to respond to our call and say ‘Yeah, sige. I will be there'," he added.
