Erik Santos remembers his late mom, thankful that she won't be suffering anymore.
Singer-actor Erik Santos posted a heartwarming message for his mom, who recently passed away, saying that she will never be forgotten.
Erik posted his message on Instagram on December 1, with a picture of his late mom, Angelita Ramos Santos. He said that his mom is now in the best place, "Makakahinga ka na ng mapayapa without any machine, no more cancer."
He also said, "We will always love you Nanay. You will never be forgotten. NEVER! You will always be in our hearts FOREVER. I know someday, we will see each other again."
Erik said how he will miss taking care of his nanay as well as their chats about life while drinking coffee.
“Ma-mi miss ko ang mga tawa mo Nay, yung mga jokes mo. Ma-mi miss kita katabi sa pagtulog. I will miss everything about you,” he added.
The singer then thanked his mom for “fighting for us until your very last breath,” adding that how she very courageous for putting up a good fight against her illness.
“I know in my heart that you are very happy now with our Lord Jesus Christ. I know, that you will always be there to guide me, si tatay at mga kapatid ko. You are now our guardian angel,” he said.
Erik finished his message with, “You may now rest in the loving arms of God. You will always be our hero, our forever love, the wind beneath our wings.”
Erik's mom passed away on November 25, as the singer announced on social media. Her wake is being held at the Arlington Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
