Eugene Domingo could not help but express her deep admiration for veteran actress Hilda Koronel.
Actress-comedienne Eugene Domingo transitionally shared her intense admiration and high regard for veteran actress Hilda Koronel after working together on the recently released film, Sisa.
In her Instagram post, Eugene shared a message for Hilda alongside photos of them together.
She praised the veteran actress, describing her as an “inavaluable” artist in the industry.
“Maraming salamat sa iyong kabuuan. Isa kang artistang hindi matatawaran,” Eugene wrote in the caption.
In the same caption, Eugene provided several adjectives reflecting her personal experience and perspective of Hilda.
A notable part of Eugene's post is the term “baliw” or “crazy,” which serves as a tribute to Hilda's profound commitment and masterful performance, particularly given that their project revolves around the iconic role of Sisa.
“Mahusay, masipag, magaling, mapagmalasakit, matapang, baliw,” she wrote.
Eugene also expressed that it is a privilege to be part of a project with a legend who has returned for such a “significant movie.”
“Salamat at ikaw ay nagbalik upang gumawa na naman ng isang importanteng pelikula,” she expressed.
According to Eugene, she has always been a loyal follower of Hilda, but her admiration grew even deeper after seeing her portrayal of the character in their film together: “Tagahanga mo ako, lalo, dahil dito.”
The actress-comedienne capped off her emotional tribute with a powerful, celebratory salute to the veteran icon, writing, “MABUHAY KA! @hildakoronel.official”
Responding to the tribute, Hilda expressed her gratitude in the comments, affectionately using the term “mama” to address Eugene.
“Thank you mama Eugene for your kind words..I love you very much. Working with you has been a pleasure and a blessing. Maraming salamat,” Hilda wrote in the comments.
Recently, Eugene appeared in the film Kontrabida Academy alongside Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza.
Meanwhile, the film Sisa serves as the comeback project for veteran actress Hilda Koronel, marking her return after a 13-year hiatus from the industry.
