Pambansang Bae Alden Richards continues to support GMA’s fight against cyber bullying through its #HeartoverHate advocacy campaign.

Two years in a row, the Kapuso star reminds everyone to use social media responsibly. He said in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, “When we do campaigns like this, it’s a constant reminder in dealing with social media [and the Internet]. Internet users [need] to be more aware of their actions, and the words that they let out sa social media accounts nila.”

The actor thinks the campaign is a powerful tool, “I really support this campaign ng GMA kasi it’s really doing something good for the ones who watch the videos of this advocacy.”

The in-demand celebrity has been a subject of cyber bullying all throughout his career, and he feels he needs to be extra careful with what he posts online.

“When it comes to social media kasi, it made the world smaller by being a medium for emotions, thoughts, [and] everything. Reminder lang, sometimes there are limits also na you can’t be too comfortable using social media kasi minsan we tend to post things that [are] not meant to be posted,” he stressed in the interview.
