Arra San Agustin revealed how the new normal made an impact on her show, Taste MNL.

In an exclusive video, Arra discussed the changes that she will deal with in her online restaurant review show.

Arra said, “I won't be able to shoot, go outside, and go around the metro and visit different restaurants.”

She added that before the COVID-19 pandemic, visiting a restaurant gives a different dining experience.

“I think 'yung ambiance ng restaurants, it vastly contributes to the experience -- the whole dining experience. Kung mawawala 'yun parang 'di ba, medyo nagbabago rin 'yung vibe. Nagbabago 'yung mood mo habang kumakain ka.”

With these changes in the new normal, Arra will now review different dishes at home and will be doing the shoot on her own for the show.

“I think the advantage naman of shooting at home is that I get to share it with my family and I can be very comfortable wherein puwede akong maging messy. Puwede akong magkalat, and so on and so forth.”

The Taste MNL host mentioned that their new episodes will be dedicated to small businesses that are selling food items. Arra hopes her review will help consumers find the best items sold around the metro.

“We want to help and support small business owners so that viewers, you guys, can have ideas of which food, where to order, ano 'yung mga nagti-trend ngayon. Ano 'yung mga masasarap na i-order ngayon.”

She added, “Para sa mga may trust issues sa online shopping, sa pagbili online, at least here we can verify and we can let you know the best places to order food and have them delivered to your doorstep.”
