Versatile actor and director Eric Quizon is part of the stellar cast of the highly-anticipated Kapuso soap Victor Magtanggol starring the one and only Alden Richards.

The story of this action/superhero series is inspired by the iconic Norse Mythology that will surely make Kapuso viewers excited to watch the telefantasya series every weeknight.

Eric in his exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com talked about his character in Victor Magtanggol which has both good and bad side.

He said, "Well good because I'm still human, I'm still a father [and] I'm very protective of Janine [Gutierrez] so magiging protective ako sa kaniya, but it came to a point also that I have to use her because I know that through her makukuha ko 'yung gusto ko."

The Kapuso star also revealed with GMANetwork.com the process of how he creates his character.

"I don't really have a peg, what I usually do is I immerse myself to the character and create my character on my own. Part of the character I portray is partly me. I inject a little bit of me in all my character."

Eric also has only kind words with his co-star Janine Gutierrez who will play her daughter in Victor Magtanggol. He pointed out that the Kapuso actress has a lot of potentials.

"She's a lovely person. She's a lovely girl and it's fun to work with her, masaya siya katrabaho hindi mabigat. Mahusay, mahusay na bata, I mean you could see there is potential, alam mo talagang ang lineage hindi maikakaila."

Janine is the daughter of actors Lotlot de Leon and Ramon Christopher “Monching” Gutierrez and is granddaughter to Eddie Gutierrez and Pilita Corales.

Meanwhile, Janine described Eric as a great actor who made every scene they shot a lot easier to do. This is also the first time the Kapuso star will be working with the actor/director.

"Opo, first time ko siya makatrabaho. Siyempre familiar ako sa mga nagawa niya dahil napapanood ko siya simula noong bata ako... Masaya dahil mas napapadali 'yung trabaho kapag mahusay 'yung ka-eksena mo, so I'm very, very lucky na makatrabaho siya."
