'Sahaya' actress Faith Da Silva is happy to renew her contract with GMA Artist Center earlier today, July 2.
Wearing a matching blue suit, the actress said that she feels grateful to the network for giving her another year to prove herself and show to everyone her talents.
“Siyempre sana hindi lang more projects pero 'yung pag-e-evolve ko as an actor kasi gusto ko talaga yung ginagawa ko.
“Kasi everytime na umaarte ako, 'yung puso ko and 'yung nararamdaman ko iisa - masaya 'yung nafi-feel ko,” she said.
When asked what role she's looking forward to in the future, everyone was surprised with her answer.
“Gusto ko makita nila ako as a versatile actor.”
Aside from her contract signing, Faith is also happy to discuss her current project in the network which is the primetime series Sahaya wherein she plays the role of Fareeda -- one of Sahaya's nemesis.
Faith's acting in the series are commended by everyone even online. Often times, she acquires comments on Instagram saying her character is convincing for a kontrabida.
These “comments” were regarded by Faith as a compliment to her acting chops.
“Ibig sabihin mas nakakinis talaga ako and it means na mas gagalingan ko talaga.”
The success of Sahaya also meant pressure for the 19-year-old.
Now moved to a new timeslot, Faith admitted that it's nothing but friendly competition between them and the rival network's show.
