Millennial It Girl and global endorser Gabbi Garcia discussed the ways that help her achieve healthy-looking and well-hydrated skin.
According to the Kapuso actress, she religiously follows her skincare routine.
“I'm very masipag when it comes to skincare, I wash my face, I apply toner, I do all the serums then I discovered that it is not enough.”
Gabbi added seeking professional help from a good dermatologist will definitely be a big help. Nothing beats professional's advice that tells you if you're using the right products and getting the right treatments.
“You need derma, you need facial. So when I met them (Belo doctors), they told me you have to clean your face all the time. You also have to monitor your skin. It doesn't just go na parang this is good for you. You really have to analyze your skin type. You have to customize what's good for you.”
Gabbi was launched as the face of Lumino Vita Glow of Belo Clinic last February 26.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Gabbi also discussed the importance of self-care and monitoring the food that you eat.
She said, “Never go to sleep with makeup on, hydrate, watch what you eat. Malaking effect ang food that we eat sa skin natin; and hydrate all the time. And sleep.”
Since she works as an actress, she would occasionally get only a few hours of rest. But when she's free, she guarantees that she gets a complete sleep.
“Well in my line of work, I have to be honest, I don't usually get the complete rest. But as much as I can, I get eight hours.”
When it comes to food, Gabbi said she tries to avoid the greasy type.
“If you eat a lot of peanuts, siyempre magiging greasy rin yung skin mo, you really have to watch what you eat; Oily and fried food. But then I'm also a foodie so I just really balance it out.”
