Gabbi Garcia on listening to parents to get their approval in dating

Gabbi Garcia on getting her parents' approval before dating Khalil Ramos: “You have to respect them.”

Listening to your parents when it comes to dating is one of Gabbi Garcia's advice to earn their trust.

Gabbi Garcia is dating her boyfriend Khalil Ramos for three years and she's happy that her family is supportive of their relationship.

FEB 22 • In a span of 3 years, I was filled with so much learnings. You taught me that there are different kinds of love and that it's not all about the butterflies in your stomach, or the flowers, or the sweet surprises. It's about your “Partnership”. How one can drop everything and be selfless and give what your partner needs at the very moment. Love is not quantifiable. Love is not always fair, and it's okay. Because love is sacrificing, love is your willingness to leap and cross the world to understand and help your partner. Love heals wounds. Love is choosing you, despite all the negativity in this world. You showed me all of these. You made me feel safe. You made me feel that I was worth every bit of your time and effort and that you would still choose me at the end of the day. Every single day. Here's to our love. Happy anniversary, Kali ♥️

The Global Endorser said in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, "As long as they know that it's good for me and hindi bad influence sa akin and I still focus on myself, they have no problems with that."

When asked for advice on getting the approval of parents in dating, Gabbi stated the importance of their guidance. She discussed these details on February 26 when she was presented as the face of Belo Lumino Vita Glow.

"You have to also listen to your parents. Hindi puwedeng puro lang emotions and all the butterflies. You also have to listen to them, you have to give them that. You have to respect them."

She added, "As long as it's good for you. As long as hindi ka nadadala sa harm, hindi ka nadi-defocus. I feel like, I don't believe kasi na kapag nag-boyfriend ka, hindi ka focused sa trabaho mo or ganon."

She also discussed that relationships are different for every couple. For Gabbi, it has helped her to feel motivated to work that is why she earned the approval of her parents.

"It's different for everybody, so in my case it keeps me pa focused. It helps me pa."
