Isang panibagong karakter na naman ang tatatak sa mga manonood na bibigyang buhay ng beteranang aktres na si Cherie Gil sa fantasy series na Sirkus.

Saad niya sa isang ekslusibong panayam, “They’re very generous to collaboration and really they are spoiling me. They are giving me what I ask in terms of character creation because I’ve done a few fantasy series in the past but it’s always been girl-next-door?/?bad girl na nadaan lang sa mga damit pero ito naman kasi iba e.”

Ang batikang makeup artist na si Fanny Serrano ang gumawa ng bawat look ng kanyang karakter na si La Ora sa serye.

“I play La Ora. Of course, the usual antagonist to everything. I have power that comes from my eyes that causes people to freeze and hurt their inner organs somehow na hindi sila makakagalaw. I wear wonderful clothes and costumes and a new face. Of course, it is created by no less than Fanny Serrano and I’m grateful about it because after playing so many antagonist roles, it’s nice to play around a concept and look that only [Fanny] can create in this particular role. And of course, kailangan fashionista pa rin, ‘di ba? So with this look, I am hoping that this will be a beginning of another concept of an iconic character in our teleseryes.”

Inamin naman ni Cherie na matagal na niyang gustong gawin ang ganitong klaseng telefantasya dahil kakaiba ang konsepto nito.

Aniya, “It’s something that I always wanted to do in my life as a kontrabida, something different, something beyond and bigger than life and fantastical. It’s exciting because it’s for children. It’s a fun TV show that’s really entertaining and masaya, magaan, and of course, everything happens in the circus.”

Abangan si Cherie Gil bilang La Ora sa Sirkus ngayong January 21 na!
