Birthday girl LJ Reyes did an hour of Yoga with moms. The actress shared that she used to be a Yogi to stay fit and healthy.
“Nag-Yoga ako before, but then I changed my workout kasi I needed to tone my body na kasi we’re getting older. ‘Pag nag-workout ka [and do] activities, bibilis ulit ang metabolism mo,” the celebrity mom told GMANetwork.com in an exclusive interview.
Now, she carries weights, does cardio and core workouts, “My trainer and I focus on the parts na concerned ng mga babae na very common like arms, lower abdomen, legs, [and] butt. Kailangan tinutuloy-tuloy or else, hindi siya effective.”
Aside from exercising, the Kapuso star watches what she eats. “I don’t like kasi doing diets, especially now at my age, feeling ko parang hindi na rin kailangan sa work ko masyado. I just want to stay fit, and staying fit doesn’t mean you have to starve yourself. Ako lagi in moderation, and [I] just work out.”
She added her secret is saying no to sweets, “Nag-iba na rin ang taste buds ko na parang before I used to like sweets pero ngayon, ayaw na ng taste buds ko. Ayoko na ng masyadong sweet [at] salty. Siguro nasanay din ako, I try naman talaga to stay fit and eat healthy.”
