Niki Mendoza-Catalan shares her thoughts on this dream-come-true for Maine.

The eldest sister of Dubsmash Queen Maine Mendoza, Niki Mendoza-Catalan, is overjoyed that the dream of her sibling has finally come to fruition.

During the grand book launch of ‘Yup, I Am That Girl’ at the TriNoma mall in Quezon City last October 26, Niki spoke exclusively with GMANetwork.com and shared her thoughts about this milestone in Menggay’s career.

She said, “Isa siyang milestone for the whole family. Masaya kami na finally nagagawa na niya ‘yung gusto niya gawin like [ang] pag-come up ng isang libro.”

Niki added that people would learn more about Maine Mendoza’s life through her book.

“Yes, kasi it’s sort of shinare niya ‘yung buhay niya through the book.”

The proud ate was also overwhelmed with the news that her sister’s book was sold out in select book stores just four hours after it was released.

Niki said that they are thankful for the unwavering support of all her loyal fans.

“Sobrang thankful kami kasi hanggang ngayon marami pa rin sumusuporta at nagmamahal kay Maine [Mendoza].”
