"I eat well, I eat simple foods. I don't eat out a lot...I workout five days a week." - Ina Raymundo


At 40 years old, Ina Raymundo does not look like she is married and have five kids. But The Millionaire's Wife actress reveals that achieving her figure and staying healthy is not as complicated as others might think.

"What I do is not complicated. I eat well, I eat simple foods. I don't eat out a lot, 'yung restaurant food. For me, that's really high in calories and sodium so I try to avoid that. Not unless, ayun noong Mothers' Day nag-buffet kaming family, okay lang 'yun," she shared with GMANetwork.com in an exclusive interview.

She adds, "I workout five days a week. Very conscious ako kasi siyempre 'yung mga sinusuot ko sa The Millionaire's Wife ang seseksi, fit na fit eh. Kaya kailangan medyo ingat ako sa mga kinakain ko."

Of all her workouts, she considers Zumba as her favorite.

"I would say na 'yun ang number one workout ko, three days a week. I dance a lot. Tingnan mo naman ang mga dancers, 'di ba? Ang gaganda ng mga katawan nila kasi buong body workout 'yun eh. Zumba is perfect, kasi one hour lang siya, at para sa mga nagmamadali, tama na 'yun. And you burn lots of calories."

When it comes to her diet, she makes sure to avoid anything with too much sugar.

"Ayoko talagang kumain ng masyadong matamis, kasi sugar talaga ang number one na kalaban natin. Lahat na lang ng kainin natin may sugar 'yan na mataas. Eh we're only allowed to eat like 40 grams of sugar a day? Kaunti lang 'yun. Unaware tayo na 'yung mga kinakain natin, ang taas ng sugar."
