Kapuso sweetheart Lindsay Johnston (formerly Lindsay de Vera) has found her big break now that she's part of the the huge telefantasya series Victor Magtanggol produced by GMA Network for 2018.

The big-budget series boasts a stellar cast composed of Alden Richards, Ms. Coney Reyes, John Estrada, Al Tantay, Janine Gutierrez, Andrea Torres, Chynna Ortaleza, Pancho Magno, Dion Ignacio, Maritoni Fernandez, and Eric Quizon.

Even Ex Battalion members King Badger and Flow-G and childstar Yuan Francisco were also tapped to be part of this big soap.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Lindsay talked about the strengths and the edge of Victor Magtanggol compared with the previous telefantasya series produced by GMA-7.

She explained, “It’s really different from the past telefantasya series na ginagawa ng GMA. There is a lot of twists to it and other telefantasya shows they have of course siyempre hindi mawawala ‘yung mga mundo ng tao, mundo ng mga diyos kumbaga. It’s different, ‘yung mga props, background lahat ng mga ginagawa nila sa studio.”

Lindsay added, “I don’t watch the studio tapings pero ‘yung sa script pagbinabasa ko ‘yung nangyayari it’s really different, it’s really amazing lahat ng mga nangyayari sa script.”

Working with the Pambansang Bae has also been a great learning experience for the Kapuso actress.

“First time ko siya makatrabaho [Alden Richards]. It’s really fun. Marami ako natutunan sa kaniya, 'cause siyempre he’s more experience in a way. Kasi mas matanda siya sa akin, mas marami siyang experiences in life and in showbiz.”
