After their successful GMA Playlist stint, Pinoy reggae band Brownman Revival hope to inspire more artists (and fans) to celebrate Pinoy reggae music.

The Playlist Music Month had a festive culmination today, May 31, with Brownman Revival’s live performance via GMA Network’s Facebook page.

The Pinoy reggae band was the featured artist that concluded the month-long celebration of the GMA Playlist.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, drummer and senior member Dennis Concepcion expressed his gratitude for being a part of the Playlist Music Month.

He said, “Syempre honored and nagpapasalamat kami sa GMA for giving us this opportunity. At least they recognize na hindi pa kami nawawala. We are very pleased. Salamat at naalala niyo pa kami.”

He also shared his desire to further spread the love for original Pinoy music,  especially Pinoy reggae.

Dennis also described Brownman Revival as first and foremost music fans rather than musicians, and thus, further expressed his desire for OPM to grow in the age of social media and technology.

“Ang dali kasi ma-manufacture or ma-rehash ng technology ‘yung mga lumang music and I think importante na pangalagaan, na i-support ‘yung mga new ideas and ‘yung fresh ideas for music to grow,” he said.
