For anything about glam and fashion, Heart Evangelista is undoubtedly a go-to inspiration. While the Queen of Creative Collaborations don luxurious and posh brands, it is not so difficult to steal her style.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Heart gives a rundown of her fashion must-haves and must-dos that complete her enviable #OOTD.
Heart has a big collection of nude shoes, and one of her Louboutin pairs is one of her most photographed footwears on Instagram.
She explains, “It matches everything, makes you also look taller.”
Nothing screams more feminine and current than a pleated skirt. Heart loves this piece of wardrobe so much, she had her artworks painted on it for a fashionable collaboration.
Heart cannot deny her attraction to colors. She says, “It gives me so much energy. So it could be like a nice statement jacket, or a nice colorful bag.”
Heart compliments her fair skin with an earth-toned eye accessory. Her favorite tan and gold glasses easily match all her daytime look.
Heart doesn't strictly follow a guide book when it comes to dressing up.
She claims, “It's all about experimenting. A lot of people think because I work and I earn, of course I'd buy stuff but what people don't know is that I really use my stuff from way back. So it's really just being creative.
“You could be resourceful by following nice accounts and it's all about mix and match,” she continues.
Heart admittedly prioritizes comfortablity over anything in deciding her #OOTD. That's why she can pull off a shirt and jeans when she wants to, or dress like the A-list celebrity that she is when going out to buy groceries.
She says, “At the end of the day, you just have to be comfortable with yourself. You'd be surprised that it's not about if it's matching or what. The moment you feel good and you feel like it looks good, it will automatically look good.
“As you discover yourself and you are confident about yourself, you already know automatically what works for you. It doesn't have to match, it will just automatically look good. You dress to make yourself feel good,” Heart adds.
