Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez talks about first batch of audition for 'The Clash.' Read on!

What makes The Clash different from other contests sa Kapuso network ay open ito to both aspiring and professional singers.

"I think the difference between the other contests we’ve done here in GMA, this one kasi mas niliitan ‘yung [requirements.] Kasi now, even if you’re a professional, you can join. Tapos, 16 years old and up, walang age limit. Kahit you’re a professional, even if you have a manager, you can join,"  said Regine Velasquez-Alcasid during an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.

I think even if you have recording, even if you had a career before, but it didn’t really flourish, now you can join."

Aniya, "I have The Clash, I’m hosting another singing contest. As far as I know, bale naghahanap kami ng 60 singers, contenders, and then it’ll be cut in half."
