Thea Tolentino shares all the great qualities of her dad Nestor that she wants to emulate.
In an industry that is often equated to indulgence and entitlement, Thea Tolentino learns to navigate through it by looking for inspiration from her father Nestor Tolentino.
According to Thea's exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, her father taught her to live with practicality.

She said, “Natutunan ko 'yan sa tatay ko kasi hindi dahil available dyan 'yung pera, [kahit] stable 'yung income mo, kung hindi ka practical, madaling mauubos 'yan.
"Dito sa trabaho natin ang daming magagandang damit, ang daming kailangan bilhin. So ako natuto ako maging practical. Minsan hindi ko na tinitignan 'yung brand, basta maganda, 'yung bagay, at alam mong magtatagal at maganda quality, bibilhin ko 'yun kahit walang brand.”
Thea also admits that what she wants to further emulate from her father is being patient.
She explained, “'Yung pagiging patient dahil wala ako nun. 'Yun tatay ko kasi talagang pasensyoso. Kahit kunwari may misunderstandings, ganun, nakikinig siya. Alam mo 'yun, 'yung word na patience, wala sa akin 'yun so 'yun 'yung kailangan ko.”
