Tim Yap has been an eventologist for 20 years now and shows no signs of slowing down.
"I've lost count but I am super enjoying it. In every event there are new people, there are new movements, and being an eventologist means you become part of it. I'm so happy to become part of change, to be part of the evolution of the scene."
How does he keep himself updated?
There's social media. I'm always out and about. I'm very aware about everything. I get to meet new people and "trendspot" before they become hot.
He is however, preparing for perhaps the biggest event in his life.
Tim Yap, who proposed to his boyfriend Javi Martinez Pardo last January 19 at the Manila House in Bonifacio Global City during his 40th birthday, revealed his wedding plans with GMAnetwork.com.
He explained, "We're starting to plan already. But no set wedding preparations yet."
But when do they plan to get married?
He replied, "Maybe it's [going to] happen early 2018." He also said that the wedding might happen in Manila, but the party might be outside Manila.
Tim also talked about when he felt that Javi was "the one."
He shared, "Well, you would know right? When you're able to discover this kind of unconditional love, then you'd know that this the one...that I can live the best life that I can live, knowing that there's somebody who is giving me that kind of unconditional love."
Tim decided to propose to his now fiance after asking for two signs.
"I asked for two signs from my angels and they gave it," Tim said.
He was mum on the details but said that on his birthday, he had asked a friend to bring the ring and decided to propose that day.
