While Mikee Quintos may have experienced a breakthrough early in her showbiz career, the young Kapuso actress is still not immune from the ill comments of detractors and bashers. She claims, however, that she prefers not to take notice of them.

EXCLUSIVE: What was Mikee Quintos’s secret to success in her first year in showbiz?

Mikee shared in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com during her Playlist shoot that she doesn't let pessimism get the best of her.

“You can’t control other people but you can choose what can affect you. Minsan okay ‘yung negativity pero not too much kasi pwede kang hilahin noon pababa,” she said.

“Never mawawala ‘yung negative vibe around you, pwede siyang galing sa sarili mo or galing sa ibang people pero you can choose nga what can affect you. So far what I chose is to trust God lang and in a span of a year, I think okay naman ‘yung choice kong i-trust lang lahat sa kanya,” the young actress continued.
